At KBS Driving School, we represent software engineering best practices and strict legal integrity. This Privacy Policy details how our platform protects your data and outlines the strict isolation of your financial identifiers from our internal systems.
Financial Data Isolation (Third-Party Payment Vendor)
We enforce a strict **zero-retention financial data policy**. Our application is architecturally decoupled from the payment processing pipeline. All card details, banking credentials, CVV/CVC codes, mobile money pins, and billing details are processed entirely and directly by Paystack (a PCI-DSS compliant licensed merchant gateway).
KBS Driving School does not capture, store, log, transmit, or have access to any financial data during your checkout. All issues related to billing failures, processing errors, currency conversions, or chargebacks are subject to Paystack's terms of service and must be addressed directly to the payment gateway operator.
Information We Collect
We only collect localized, non-financial identifiers necessary to deliver physical training and record academic achievements:
- Student name, email address, and phone number
- Date of birth (to verify legal adult driving capacity under Kenyan Traffic Act)
- Enrollment state, schedule records, and digital course certificates
How We Use the Information
Your personal identifiers are strictly processed under our internal operations:
- Maintaining internal student records, attendance logs, and schedules
- Validating student credentials for official NTSA test bookings and license processing
- Communicating physical attendance notifications, schedule alterations, and portal updates
Data Security & Retention
We implement strict physical, electronic, and managerial systems to isolate and secure data. We guarantee we will never lease, sell, or distribute your personal details to any commercial third parties without your explicit legal consent, except when required by statutory law enforcement in Kenya.
Cookies & Local Storage
Our web application uses minor technical cookies and local storage tokens solely to maintain secure portal dashboard session states. These storage elements in no way give us access to your personal files, browser history, or peripheral device controllers.
